Is the New European Union Trying to Rally Public Support for a Cause that will Provide The European Union Diplomatic Strategic Superpower Status?

The United States is pro-peace. The position assumed by the United States of America is a nation making every gesture and motion possible for peace that pragmatically considers the long-term safety and welfare of every Middle East citizen. The massive war protest movement is attempting to depict the political posture of the United States as a Nation assuming a stance of war.

The massive war protest movement may be a demonstration of political power possessed by a new stronger European Union. Political forces of the European Union may be organizing massive public support for a political position that will give the European Union a trade advantage and more creditability as a global superpower.

The majority of British citizens are opposed to Tony Blair’s support of the Bush administration initiative to disarm Iraq because, understandably, the majority of British citizens desire to rally to a cause that will put Great Britain in a more favorable economic position within the European Union. A tremendous improvement in global telecommunications technology has allowed political forces of the European Union to rally to a cause that may discredit the Superpower status of the United States.

If the United States is disposed as a superpower will a new European Union be capable of taking up the economic slack? The United States plays a vital role in the global economy. In the late 1990’s the United States provided loans to bail out Asian economies in crisis.

Yes, the world can carry on without the United States, but why would the world want to carry on without the United States? If the United States is disposed, the European Union will have to dramatically increase the gross national product of the European Union to keep the global economy moving forward. If the European Union fails to increase gross national product after the United States is disposed than more than likely a global economic crisis will occur that may include massive global poverty and starvation.

Political forces inside the European Union may believe they can increase gross national product of the European Union by depending upon increased efficiency of a new class of manufacturing machinery. The drawback of this approach is that a new class of manufacturing machinery has not yet become efficient enough to take up the economic slack in the event the United States should be disposed.

The future discovery of full assembler based nanotechnology may one day in the distant future introduce a new class of highly efficient machinery that will allow the European Union to take up the economic slack in the event the United States is disposed. Full assembler based nanotechnology exist in the realm of the far distant future. Full assembler based nanotechnology may never be possible.

Since a new class of manufacturing machinery capable of taking up the economic slack in the event the United States is disposed is not currently available, the only other alternative to increase gross national product of the European Union is to require excessive amounts of overtime for the European workforce. If an excessive amount of overtime is forcefully imposed upon the European workforce than massive socioeconomic instability may occur in Europe.

Great thinkers in European history have tried to answer the age old question of “what to do with the masses” for centuries? In the Charles Dickens classic entitled A Christmas Carol, an old man named Scrooge suggested, "they should die and decrease the surplus population".

My understanding of the term Jihad is a spiritual conflict with the earthly physical nature of the material world after receiving messages from God in prayer. The famed Psychoanalyst Carl Jung espoused the theory of Collective Consciousness. Collective Consciousness is a theoretical framework describing how certain environmental stimuli become deeply embedded and ingrained in the psychological make up of people over eons and eons of time.

Since the beginning of time, prehistoric men and women learned how to contend with scarce natural resources. Prehistoric man learned how to contend with scarce natural resources by scavenging and picking over scarce natural resources. The need to scavenge and pick over scarce natural resources may have deeply ingrained hoarding behavior into the psychological make up of modern men and women.

The deeply embedded instinct of hoarding behavior may explain why an ever-present emotion of disdain and contempt is pervasively found throughout society. It is commonly known that staffs of various business organizations make jokes about external customers. Jokes about external customers may be a way to disguise guilt associated with profiting from business relationships to earn a living.

IF science is successful in dramatically increasing material abundance within society, can deeply embedded ingrained hoarding behavior and associated emotions of contempt and disdain be unlearned and erased from the psychological make up of modern man?

An increase in material abundance may decrease hoarding behavior and lessen associated negative emotions of contempt and disdain. An increase in material abundance may decrease the necessity to contend with limited scarce precious natural resources. A decrease in the necessity to contend with extremely limited scarce natural resources may decrease hoarding behavior and lessen associated negative emotions of contempt and disdain. People may learn to "live and let live."

Given the historic pattern of Iraqi military aggression in the Middle East, the United States has a right to be concerned that enormous amounts of American money spent in the Middle East will be used to finance future military actions to dispose of the United States.
