Petrol Oil and Gas, Inc. (OTCBB: POIG), primary objective is the development of Coal Bed Methane in Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri. During the past two years Petrol leased approximately 165,000 acres located in and around Coffey County, Kansas and in nearby Missouri. Petrol recently completed a $6.6 million financing to fund its CBM drilling program, which is now underway.
Silver Star Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: SVSE) is committed to the exploration and development of oil and natural gas reserves throughout western North America. Company management is focused on an acquisition program targeting high quality,
low risk prospects provided via key strategic partnerships. The Company has its first producing gas well being tied-in to pipeline in California, and excellent prospects both there and in Alberta.
Stealth Ventures Ltd. (TSX:V: SLV) is participating with a 40% working interest in a 1,500 metre well to test for oil from the Midale and Frobisher formations at a new location in southeast Saskatchewan. Stealth has a 40% interest in a half section (320 acres). Offsetting wells have been completed on two sides of the Stealth location earlier this year.
At Stellarton, Nova Scotia, Stealth is funding a much anticipated horizontal CBM well to test for natural gas productivity. Stealth is currently waiting for a rig to be mobilized to Stellarton. The permits are in place, the surface lease has been built and the operator is on location, setting surface casing with a smaller rig, which will shorten the drilling time when operations do commence. Stealth will announce the commencement, completion and test results of this well in a timely manner.
